ADSW demonstrates leadership and policy in action by welcoming the IRENA Assembly and the Atlantic Council Global Energy Forum, and high-level parliamentary delegations, helping carve a pathway towards a more sustainable world.
These premier policy events provide a platform for policy makers, government officials, intergovernmental organisations, and industry leaders to define the future roadmap of the global sustainability agenda. By facilitating collaboration and enhancing knowledge-building discourse, the policy events held during ADSW help to motivate action, increase sustainability, and solve the world’s most pressing energy and sustainability challenges.
The Atlantic Council Global Energy Forum is a two-day premier event that gathers international and regional political, industry and thought leaders to set the global energy agenda for the year and examine the longer-term geopolitical and geo-economic implications of the changing energy system.
The Assembly of IRENA is the supreme decision-making body of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) and brings together heads of state, ministers, government officials and representatives from the private sector, civil society and other international organizations to reaffirm the global renewable energy agenda and make concrete steps to accelerate the global energy transition.
